Grahame's first attempt at production still bears the familiar Lucky Jim hallmarks - the quirky lyrics , an ear for melody and of course the voice. But without the pressure of earlier releases it really highlights his maverick streak.

There is also a more eclectic sound with the almost Berlin era Bowie sounding I know there is a God sitting comfortably next to Rimbaudesque sea shanty North.
